Ladylike focuses on perceptions of taboo that are tied to gender and expression. The term has always interested Cambo, and provoked thought and response:
"it would hold the same, if not more important meaning, if someone just said ‘ill-mannered’, which is non-gendered - so why don’t we?"
 
The term, albeit archaic, shows how ideals of ‘proper standards’ and manners are still expectations held primarily for those perceived as female. "Don’t get me wrong, I’m not advocating for pissing everywhere, no matter who you are. But its just interesting when the roles are reversed. "
