A symbol from the cover of an old prayer book a friend gave me dated 1952. After some digging, I found that the symbol is a Latin catholic monogram, which symbolises “I have suffered”. The symbolism, philosophy and community of religion is really interesting me recently, despite not being involved in religion myself.
